INTERNATIONALIZATION

SENASA has provided a real boost for the training activity since 2012 and have been delivered training to staff of the civil aviation from 30 countries. Under this strategy, we foresee to maintain and increase the level of activity for next years. In addition, our Air Traffic Control Training Center has become a reference center, both in initial and advanced training. In the Center had already been trained students of Equatorial Guinea, Malta, Georgia, Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Albania, and Cape Verde.

SENASA was certified in 2011 as a qualified entity by EASA, to support the European Aviation Safety Agency in the certification of pan- European air navigation services providers. SENASA has also been granted the accreditation to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as Full Member of ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Programme (an initiative promoted and managed by ICAO to create a worldwide group of reference centers in aviation training). The centers associated to this program are considered “Centers of excellence in aeronautical training", which allows them to be recognized at the global level and, in this way, enhance their chances of doing international business.

Both accreditations are the pillars on which, from a couple of years ago, settle some of the international projects that have remained active in the following countries: Belgium, Libya, Israel, Morocco, Tunisia, Mauritania, El Salvador, Indonesia, Russia, Philippines, Nepal, Argentina, Chile, Senegal, China, México, Portugal, Angola, Arab Emirates, Cyprus, Georgia, Albania and Equatorial Guinea.
