SENASA has made a firm commitment to quality with the implementation of various systems of quality management.
SENASA’s quality policy reflects the intention of complying with the regulations that apply, as well as to meet the requirements demanded by customers, promoting actions for continuous improvement of the processes developed to achieve the objectives set.
The efforts made by SENASA’s staff to provide quality services have been rewarded by the certifications obtained, which guarantee the compliance of its processes to the ISO 9001 standard, as well as the aviation legislation governing the activities of the organization.
Environmental protection is also one of the priorities of SENASA, as evidenced by the ISO 14001 certificate obtained by the Aircraft Maintenance Centre in Salamanca.
Certifies to SENASA as” Approved Training Organization”, it regulates the delivery of Training Courses: PPL(A), PPL (A) to PPL (H), TMG, that are delivered at Ocaña´s Flight School as well as MCC and MCCI Courses (Flight Simulators).
Approved based on EASA FCL that regulates the pilot training at European level, this certification can also provide regulated training to pilots of RPAS/drones, according to Law 18/2014 of October 14.
Intended to ensure the correct operation of the simulators, as well as their maintenance and technical management. There is a different EASA CS-FSTD certification for each of the existing simulators operated by SENASA in the Flight Simulator Centre (B-757 and CESSNA CITATION III), maintaining also another certification for a FFS ATR72-500 simulator, Category “D”, under the same standards.

EASA PARTE 145
It complies with Regulation (EC) No 2042/2003 (Annex II) for Aircraft Maintenance Centres (according to Part-145). This certification was obtained by SENASA’s Aircraft Maintenance Centre in Salamanca and Ocaña.
CONTINUING AIRWORTHINESS MANAGEMENT ORGANISATION (CAMO)
Approval obtained by SENASA’s Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) in Salamanca and Ocaña in accordance with Part M, Subpart "G" and "I" of Regulation (EC) No 2042/2003 (Annex I), in order to manage the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft within its scope (SENASA and others), as well as to issue airworthiness review certificates.
Authorization obtained by SENASA’s Sport Aviation Center in Ocaña, according to compliance with Articles 79 and 80 of Law 48/1960 of July 21 on Air Navigation, and Order No. 1962 of the Ministry of Transport, Tourism and Communications, December 30, 1985 (BOE No 21 of 24.1.1986) on regulation of gliding. And, since the entry into force of annex I to Regulation (EU) No. 1178 / 2011 ("Aircrew Regulation"), Ocaña´s Sport Aviation Center, delivers new courses based on European legislation.
PRIVATE PILOT TRAINING SCHOOL
SENASA is a training organisation certified according to the Part-ORA, enabled to provide training courses for the part-FCL and, among them, the Private Pilot Training Course (PPL (A)). These regulations are contained in the Regulations (EU) No. 290/2012 and 1,178/2011 of the European Commission, as well as its material Guide.
INSTRUMENT RESEARCH AND TOWING OF GLIDERS AERIAL WORKS
The Sport Aviation Centre is Ocaña is authorized to conduct Instrument Research and towing of gliders Aerial Works in accordance with Article 79 of Law 48/1960, July 21, on Air Navigation
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS UNE-EN ISO 9001: 2008
This certification has been obtained by:
- The Aircraft Maintenance Centre in Salamanca, for the aircraft maintenance and operation activities, as well as for the maintenance and repair of aircraft components operations.
- SENASA’s Directoriate of Air Navigation and Operations, for ATC simulators maintenance activities.
- The Air Navigation Management, for the inspections executions, surveys and supervision of Air Navigation Services and Aeronautical Meteorology and management of reported events in civil aviation activities.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS, UNE-EN ISO 14001: 2004
SENASA’s Aircraft Maintenance Centre in Salamanca has obtained the ISO 14001 certification for aircraft maintenance and operation operations, as well as maintenance and repair of aircraft components.

SENASA has been awarded as Full Member of the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Program. The TRAINAIR PLUS program of ICAO has been created to ensure the highest training standards for all aviation professionals.
